FIT BOMB - One Kettlebell. Two moves. CARDIO DONE!

Man I love me these cannon ball thingies.  

For some strange reason, people who use kettlebells often seem to only want to use kettlebells.
That's ME!!!

Granted I use barbells and dumbbells often enough but I REAALLLY like kettlebells. They can do so many things AND they take up so little space. They are a great way to develop strength, power, cardiovascular endurance, save time and a host of other amazing benefits, like badassery.

Cardio is boring. Let’s just be honest. Some people find it therapeutic and that’s totally fine, more power to those folks. But, personally, if I can cram some cardio in while strength training, I’d rather do that.

Kettlebells can give you great strength gains, as well as cardio. As mentioned above, if someone can get their heart rate up while also developing muscle mass, it’s killing two birds with one stone. Get more done in less time. RIGHT?! And that is good, nay great, for fat loss. There’s a high metabolic cost of tossing the weight around and it is also great strength training to develop muscle. Muscle requires more energy to maintain, meaning more fat loss.

Anyhow, on that note...

THE NUMBERS
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

TWO MOVES
Overhead Kettlebell Swings
Thruster

HOW TO
Grab a kettlebell and start swinging.  Do 10
Using the same Kettlebell start Thrusting.  Do 10
Then Swing 9.  Thrust 9
Then Swing 8. Thrust 8 and so on until you hit 1... if you're completely nuts work your way back up to 10.
