Homemade ice pop recipes are a great idea for a healthy snack and perfect for summer.
Drinking coconut water brings lots of health benefits! Because of its high concentration of fiber, coconut water aids in the prevention of indigestion and reduces the occurrence of acid reflux. Coconut water is also way more effective at hydrating the human body than any sports and energy drinks. It contains five essential electrolytes: calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and sodium. Coconut water is so good for you!
That's why these are great for the kiddies. They won't even know it's healthy.
1 cup chopped fresh fruit - ANY FRUIT - ex.mango, papaya, pineapple, or kiwi
3/4 cup coconut water
2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
DIRECTIONS
You have two choices
1.Combine fruit, coconut water, and sweetener in a blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to Popsicle molds; freeze.
2. Combine coconut water and sweetener. Add chopped fruit to cups about 3/4 full then pour in coconut water mixture; freeze.
