MARCH MADNESS Bombshell workout WK2 DAY 4 (PULL UPS MAKE YOU COOL...true story.)

Just saying...pull ups are cool and they make you even cooler especially if you can do them in a weighted vest!  Yeah!

You know your thinking it: There’s something cool about pulling your own weight at the gym. But you know the benefits of pull-ups go beyond how they look.



Pull-ups are one of the best upper-body exercises as they hit the shoulders, arms and back. Only problem; they're really freaking difficult to do! Pull-ups are probably one of the toughest body-weight exercises to master, but if you start off simple with some modified movements and build strength in your lats and back, you'll have your chin to the bar in no time.

I've provided you with 3 options in the video if you do not have a pull up bar. If you're new start with the inverted row.


3 Tips for Beginners
• Don’t cross your feet. That will decrease the amount your abs can contribute to the exercise.
• Start with a resistance band.
• Don’t swing your body (yet, no kipping until you can do 5 strict) or tuck your knees up. To avoid swinging, tighten your abs and glutes. Use that CORE!

Were going to start with a strength component and skill session.  We are doing pull ups today.  If you want a sculpted back and strong lean arms then time to do pull ups...plus they are so very badass!



 No pull up bar? No problem. There are alternative movements in the video.
