MEET YOUR LOCAL FARMER (Langview farms...they deliver!)


There are SOOO many of you out there that are still in the delusion of not wanting to eat more, because of the misguided notion of "it'll make me gain weight"...Well yeah if you are eating crap, of course it will. Let me get you started on the right path...fresh, local, high quality, pasture raised meat! Remember, you are what you eat so don't be fast, cheap or fake.

























Anyhow, there is no diet that will do what eating healthy does. There’s no better strategy than changing your diet to include more real food (think fruits, vegetables, tubers, meat, nuts ...stuff like that). Oh, one more nugget of wisdom...ditch processed foods. Yup, that’s it. Try some of this locally raised bits of meat heaven.
LANGVIEW FARMS.  They have beef, lamb, chicken, pork and the best part is, they deliver.  I give them two of mine and my husbands and my kids thumbs up!  I know where my meat is coming from and I know that the animals are being raised humanely. Just go to their website and see.  By far some of the best meat around.

Another great place for local meat and eggs...THE NEST EGG.  As a matter of fact, this is where I got my Ladybirds.  If you still don't have your very own backyard flock then this is the place to go for all your poultry needs.  Eggs, chickens, turkeys.  They've got them.  A smaller farm but they can provide you with eggs all year round.  Be certain to order your chickens and turkeys in the spring and these guys will raise them for you on their little farm.  When you pick up your eggs you can watch your flock grow as they run about the yard, free ranging all summer long on their acreage and organic gardens. No food additives or medication are ever used. All the happy hens and turkeys and ducks are free as a...well bird.   I'll be having a Narragansett turkey this thanksgiving...I even got to pet it this weekend;)
