BE THE BADASS: Forget skinny or toned or shredded
What do you really want?
Do you want to be skinny, muscle(y) or do you want to be fit? Not magazine/ab fit just healthy fit.
Is your goal aesthetic or is it to be able to wipe your own butt when you're in your 90's?
I know trying to be skinny is not the goal for most of us here at Cherry Bomb Garage Gym... or shouldn't be. Most of us have come to terms with our limitations. Like I will not spontaneously grow a few inches. I am content with what I can do and work on progressively getting better as a COACH and a HUMAN.
I've also come to terms with the fact that women who take on crossfit are seriously some of the most BADASS women out there!!! So next time you're frustrated with your performance during a WOD. Remember you're doing things most people will never even ATTEMPT. Be proud of your gains... Wear your BADASS badge with pride!!!
Remember this!
Skinny doesn't always equate to beauty. Plump doesn't always equate to unhealthy.
I've seen many gorgeous people in all shapes and sizes. I've also seen many gorgeous people who absolutely hate themselves. So remember that, "skinny/magazine fit/abs" doesn't equate to having a perfect life. No one has a perfect life. Your life may be easier if you are fit - but your problems still don't go away magically. Weight loss doesn't change that- your MIND is what makes or breaks you.

And, people do not love you more if you are fit. If they do, they are not the quality people you'd want in your life - you'd deserve more. If people judge you, that's their issue. Being skinny does not equal beauty or necessarily good physical or mental health. You have to WORK hard to be fit- even thin people have to work hard to be fit. Savy? If so comment.
