TRAINING FOR A FUNCTIONAL LIFE (Reality vs Stupid Human tricks)
It's daunting to walk into a fitness facility of any sort and see the workout on the board or the rows and rows of people running, biking or rowing none stop while the music boom boom booms away. Some days these workouts look damn near impossible.
But have no fear the posted workouts at Cherry Bomb are meant to be challenging but not impossible, because the challenge is where the change happens. For many of us, doing a Workout of the Day as written by the "expert" is an aspirational goal and to others, it may not even be in their cross-hairs. And that's OK. As a fitness expert myself, I know that there is a place for everyone no matter their age, fitness or goals in every fitness program but sadly they aren't marketing to you so you may not see it.
Cherry Bomb's Training is all inclusive but we tend to aim more toward the Active Aging (think 40, 50+). Meaning all the workouts we do and all the movements we use can be modified to suit anyone willing to put forth the effort, regardless of age or previous physical condition. And if you're still daunted we also have a MASTER CLASS (55+) It's semi private where we work with MATURE ADULTS & THOSE who require a more adaptive protocol.
Much of our coaching centers around teaching people to move correctly, and guiding them through exercise progressions suited to their abilities. The modifications allow anyone to participate in any workout. Can't do a pushup? No problem, we have a substitute movement. Can't do a pullup? No problem, we have a substitute movement. Can't squat? We can fix it.
