RECIPE - HANKERING FOR A COOKIE? Apple, Cranberry, and Chocolate Cookie Balls

They may look like rounded piles of poop but I swear they taste pretty darn good and look way better after they're cooked.

2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup dried apples
½ cup old-fashioned oats (certified gluten-free if necessary)
½ cup almond meal
½ cup chocolate protein powder
2-3 tbsp mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries (I used frozen)
30g dark chocolate melted for dipping

Preheat oven to 350F.

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In large mixer, mash bananas with a fork. Add oats, almond meal, and protein powder, stirring to combine. It may seem dry, but keep mixing! Fold in chocolate chips, apple and cranberries.
Using your hands, mold small cookies balls about 1.5 inches wide. Compress the cookie-balls in your hands and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for about 13 minutes, or until set. Allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Melt the extra dark chocolate and dip each cookie ball in, so it's half covered.
Let the cookie balls cool on wax paper.
